Ranks are owner determined rankings that are based on a viewer's XP. Their XP is ultimately based on the viewer's Chat Points, Time Points, and Currency. However, the effect that each has on a user's XP can be manipulated by the owner.

Creating Ranks

All Ranks can be created on the Ranks Tab in the vivbot dashboard.

Add a new rank

Clicking this button will add a new rank to the top of your list. This will not affect the positions of other ranks, but it will affect the Total XP required for each other rank depending on your XP Curve.

Level

This is the position of your rank, and will show up on the leaderboard and by default in the myrank command covered later.

Total XP

This is the amount of XP that is required to reach a specific rank. This can be manipulated through the total number of ranks, the XP Curve, and the max XP.

Name

This is the name of a given level, and will show up on the leaderboard, and by default when a user uses myrank. This can be changed freely.

Move up

This button will move the current rank up one level.

Move down

This button will move the current rank down one level

Remove

Clicking this button will permanently delete the rank from your list. This will affect the Total XP required for each other rank depending on your XP Curve.

Manipulating XP/Ranks

You can manipulate a persons XP and their Rank based on their Currency, Chat Point, and Time Point balances. You can also manipulate the XP thresholds through the Max XP and the XP Curves.

TP to XP Ratio

This determines how many Time Points (TP) it takes to get 1 XP, based on a percentage. At 0%, TP will never give you XP. At 25%, every 4 TP gives you 1 XP. At 50%, every 2 TP gives you 1 XP. At 100%, every TP gives you 1 XP. The higher this is, the more viewers will value having the stream on while the stream is running.

CP to XP Ratio

This determines how many Chat Points (CP) it takes to get 1 XP, based on a percentage. At 0%, CP will never give you XP. At 25%, every 4 CP gives you 1 XP. At 50%, every 2 CP gives you 1 XP. At 100%, every CP gives you 1 XP. The higher this is, the more viewers will value being active in chat while the stream is running.

Currency to XP Ratio

This determines how much Currency it takes to get 1 XP, based on a percentage. At 0%, Currency will never give you XP. At 25%, every 4 Currency will give 1 XP. At 50%, every 2 Currency gives you 1 XP. At 100%, every unit of Currency gives you 1 XP. The higher this is, the more viewers will value currency, and the more the owner will be able to manipulate ranking by giving/removing currency from viewers.

Warning: Having this high can make some people very serious about your currency.

XP Curve

This will determine how hard it is to climb to the next rank. At 10 the growth is linear (1-2-3-4), at 20 the growth is squared (2-4-8-16) At 30 the growth is cubic (3-9-27-81) and so on.

As a general rule:

The higher this is, the easier it is to get to lower ranks, but higher ranks will take much more XP, growth will be much slower.

The lower this is, the quicker it is to grow in ranks, and each rank will take a shorter time to reach, growth will be faster.

Note: This ties in VERY CLOSELY with the number of ranks you have and the max XP to determine the required XP for ALL ranks.

Total XP for Max Level

This determines how much XP is required to reach the max rank. Every time this is increased, the required XP for EACH RANK will increase as well.

Note: This ties in VERY CLOSELY with the number of ranks you have and the XP curve to determine the required XP for ALL ranks.
